In conventional medicine, we know energy medicine as in a CT scan, MRI, EKG. These tests are a form of energy medicine; they provide us a picture for interpretation. This particular scanning device measures energy signals, stressors of the body. Germany has relied on this type of technology for assessment for over 80 years. Our Body is a life, vibrant electrical circuitry; trillions of signals are traveling every second throughout the body, neurons communicating with glands and organs. This communication network in the body depends on minerals, nutrients and thought processes, and emotions. For the body to be healthy, everything has to be in harmony.

There are stressors, or interferences, such as chemicals, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi, maybe food allergies, or catastrophic emotional events that can interfere with the proper flow of energy to the organs and glands. The flow of energy resembles a string and a knot in the string is the interference, it doesn’t allow a continuous flow of energy.

A healthy body can handle a small amount of these “interferences”. However, if you are sick, low in energy, always catching colds, or you have skin breakouts, rashes, pain anywhere in the body, depression, sleeping problems, weight gain…..this indicates that the stressors in your body are interfering with your ability to lead a normal life. If this state continues for a long time, the disease will set in, or you might already have a disease.

This device can measure these interferences, record them, and identify which are the major stressors. A skilled holistic practitioner will help you design a program for you to follow, recommend the right type of diet for you based on your findings and recommend the supplements, homeopathic or herbal remedies for you. Based on the findings, he or she might even be able to recommend which other therapies might be beneficial to you, such as chiropractic, acupuncture, even determine what acupuncture points need to be treated.

 

This assessment can then also be compared to blood tests or other scans. I will frequently also look at blood chemistries or other tests to determine the best program for a patient to follow. It is most important to remember this: there are thousands of signals recorded with this assessment. The information derived is extremely accurate but only as good as the practitioner that understands how to interpret these findings and set up a program that will be most effective for the patient. The average time for a proper assessment is approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours and a reevaluation is of utmost importance. By being able to assess what vitamins, herbs, etc. a person is compatible with, you will never be taking supplements that don’t agree with you or that you simply don’t need and you will only take them long enough until the desired effect is achieved. The nutritional program is always adjusted based on your own biochemical need, through follow-up scans. Once proper energy flow is restored (knots in the string are resolved), healing can begin.

An Overview

A revolution in health care was begun in the late 1940s by a German medical doctor, Reinhard Voll. While studying the Chinese meridian system, he reasoned that if acupuncture theory was correct and channels of energy did flow along channels throughout the body, there should be a way to measure it when it comes to the skin’s surface at various points along the way. He constructed a device using an ohmmeter and a blunt brass probe which, when placed on an acupuncture point, measured the skin’s ability to conduct this energy, similar to a lie detector.
